I am currently a research analyst at the University of Bridgeport. I spend much of my time pulling and analyzing data using SQL-esque relational database software, Python (pandas), and Excel (VBA, pivot tables). I do so to fulfill a steady stream of requests for data which ultimately inform the strategic decisions of senior leadership, ensure compliance of programs with academic regulations, support external reporting, and substantiate grant applications. I frequently present insights through Power BI reports making full use of DAX and Power Query.In addition to my analytic responsibilities, I carry out many critical operational functions. These include running course evaluations, reviewing and organizing documentation demonstrating regulatory compliance, and carrying out studies of alumni employment outcomes.
