Build and lead a team of 6 direct reports with full accountability for 2,200 indirect reports. Partner with division President in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps, short and long-term plans, programs and special projects to drive the continuous improvement of operations. Hold direct responsibility for overseeing safety program execution, aircraft maintenance oversight, quality control and operational performance. Spearheaded an initiative for reducing time for aircraft inspections by 70%; worked closely with field staff, providing direction on streamlining process to eliminate unnecessary steps, yielding significant improvements. Restructured and standardized centralized pilot training across operations; introduced 4 D level simulators, as well as a closed-loop training process, which has resulted in improved safety with -0- fatal accidents. Enhanced safety and quality control programs, facilitating in-depth assessments to identify trends with aircraft damage and introducing process improvements to reduce preventable damage by $1M annually. Drove an increase in fleet utilization from 85% to 91% without impacting base in service rate of 97%; decreased spare aircraft fleet ratio from 5:8:1 to 6:5:1 and increased centralized pilot recurrent/transition training to 80%. Deployed a standardized lift off process for 300+ locations, which decreased lift times by 10 minutes and increased accuracy of ETA to callout location by >80% within 3 minutes. Identified areas for cost reduction and developed cost containment strategy to maximize budget and increase profitability. Reduced maintenance costs by $2M and pilot training costs by $1M. Delivered productivity improvements, increasing planned orders completion to 80% in >30 days.
