A Middle-Management Role at Asda’s Head Office; working in a specialist role within General Merchandising with a focus on fulfilment to stores for domestic & imported products.Such fulfilment responsibilities include, but not limited to:• Phasing & ordering of imported products after liaising with international suppliers across the retail season.• Monitoring of stock position on over 3 million Item-Store combinations for products within the range & promotions.• Promo & Events execution with major attention on Winter fuels, Fans & Q4 Batteries in foyer space.• Working with convenience stores’ stakeholders as the largest GM stock supplier to those 500+ stores.An additional responsibility outside of the job includes the running of an internal program consisting of fortnightly training seminars. The focus here, to develop operational colleagues’ knowledge & skills. The result, more efficient implementation of business strategy, ultimately leading to greater product availability.
