Molecular manager at hVIVO. Expanding possibilities. I am an experienced molecular microbiologist working in research and pathogen diagnostics for the last 30 years in the United Kingdom since I was awarded with my PhD at Kings Collage Loddon I have spent my career working in Research at Warwick University Life Science and Chemistry Department and the last 8 years working in the private sector (Micropathology LTD and hvivo). My UK career has focused on the development of molecular tools to understand biological problems including environmental microbiology, infectious diseases/pathogens, zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance gene/pathogenicity islands and biotechnology for the development of bioplastics (bacterial cell factories). I have experience working in several countries as visitor scientist in Australia, USA, Brazil and Italy. I am highly motivated enthusiastic and approachable person.In August 2022, I joined hVIVO London as molecular manager (Subject-Matter-Expert SME for hvivo molecular laboratory). My main role is to oversee the molecular service/work (RTqPCR data) for respiratory vaccine/compounds study trials and troubleshooting point of contact; SOP revision and implementation of workflow for the molecular laboratory; monitoring lab stocks, reagents, and scheduling the molecular service.
