   Leader of all electrical and low-level firmware developments at Canvas - Built 2 generations of self-driving robots, 10+ test fixtures - from product requirement to a mass production ready platform.*Design of a novel autonomous vehicle in partnership with Hilti Robotics Lab> Led the technical partnership with Hilti (2 years - US/EU)- Successfully led partnership meetings, ensuring alignment with Canvas’ OKRs and release to customer deadline- Wrote the requirements in terms of performances, safety level, reliability and functionality - Traveled to support Hilti’s team to system wide testing (acceptance, end of line tests) and troubleshooting - Collaborated with Canvas’ leadership to accelerate an already aggressive timeline by providing some technical expertise - Defined and prototyped the next generation of robotic tool by integrating an actuated tool changer interface and a set of compatible power tools> Managed directly and indirectly (technical mentorship) engineers on electrical system, testing and firmware topics across several teams (hardware, software and operations).> Owned the electrical architecture, system validation, integration and performance - SIL2 safety rated architecture, harness wiring - Li-ion battery powered vehicle with BMS and charger integration - Self driving capable robot - lidars, IMU, inclination sensors integration - 6-axis robotic arm collaborating with the driving platform - Custom robotic tools development (sander, sprayer)- Design of internal test fixtures (from schematics to bring-up)> Implemented real time firmware including CAN protocol integration (CANOpen, CANOpenSafety, CAN2.0) communicating with a ROS2 software, state machines and safety rated functions.> Created a power management strategy (battery, safety, connectivity) and remote firmware updates mechanism (OTA).
