Led interviews with 15 summer intern candidates (high school and college), contributing to final selection decisions and improving alignment with team needs. Collected taxonomy requirements from Parkland department directors and relayed them to external contractors to guide the redesign of the internal self-service portal. Developed an Excel-based contractor scoring tool to automate Parkland’s vendor evaluation process for a CCaaS RFP, replacing manual grading and improving selection consistency and efficiency. Participated in change and incident management meetings, contributing to real-time discussions and gaining practical insight into IT service workflows. Shadowed Systems Engineering, Desktop Support, and IT Fulfillment teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of Parkland’s IT infrastructure and support cross-functional collaboration.

ABOUT LENNON CROW
I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Software Engineering at UT Dallas (expected May 2026) through the accelerated Fast Track program. My technical expertise includes C++, Java, Python, SQL, AWS, Linux, and building secure, cloud-based solutions. In school and at home, I enjoy hands-on projects, such as developing open-source AI platforms, building secure websites, and experimenting with my Raspberry Pis and home lab. I previously earned my Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering (cum laude, May 2025) from UT Dallas, and an Associate of Science (magna cum laude, May 2022) from Weatherford College, where I was among the first graduates of their honors program. I’m actively looking for an entry-level software engineering role to further develop my skills, collaborate on innovative projects, and make meaningful contributions to real-world tech solutions.
