ABOUT LENNA BRADBURN
Success is a journey, not a destination! My career has been a journey. From walking the beat as a police officer, to becoming Canada’s first female Chief of Police, to holding numerous senior executive positions in both the public and private sectors—I have been on a learning journey that continues today. Coming from the outside in, I have led several transformations with the goal of aligning people, processes, and systems to support an ever-evolving business environment. In addition to being Chief of the Guelph Police Service, I have held numerous leadership positions throughout my career. As Senior Vice-President/Chief Security & Compliance Officer at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, I created the Office of Player Protection and was responsible for an operating budget $92 million. As Executive Director for the City of Toronto Municipal Licensing and Standards Division, I led a staff of 380 across 11 locations and managed a budget in excess of $33 million in expenditures and $20 million in revenues. I have also served as Executive Director of Patient Ombudsman; Vice-President, Resident & Community Services Division at Toronto Community Housing Corporation; and Vice-President, Operational Services at Borealis Infrastructure (now OMERS Infrastructure).Today, as an independent consultant, I focus on helping others navigate their own journey through executive coaching, training, facilitating workshops and being a keynote speaker.I believe strongly in contributing to one’s community, and served as President of the Board of Directors of the U of T Alumni Association: Vice-Chair, Board of Regents at Victoria University; and, member of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee at Achēv. Currently, my volunteer activities include being Chair of the Board of Directors at ADAPT and a member of the Governance Committee of The Lighthouse for Grieving Children.
