About Lene Garrison

I am a recent Clemson University graduate, with a Bachelor of Science in Language and International Health and a minor in Nonprofit Leadership. The three parts of my major—health, international work, and nonprofit leadership—combine to help me understand global health issues and how to support diverse communities. I’m looking for a future career where I can use my healthcare knowledge, international experience, and passion for nonprofit work to make a difference in the lives of people from different backgrounds.My work experience ranges from work with an elite MEL team at Water Mission, shadowing doctors at ADEMTO in Spain, contributing to small group leadership with FCA, and managing daily operations as a shift supervisor at Summer Moon Coffee. During my internship at ADEMTO, I worked directly with doctors and patients with multiple sclerosis, where I gained hands-on experience in patient care and program planning in an international healthcare setting. I’ve been able to take part in several international mission trips throughout my life, and I have a passion for serving diverse communities.
