I am a design leader across the merchant and business (B2B) domain at Vipps MobilePay, working on products that help businesses run their day-to-day more smoothly in a complex fintech landscape.My role sits between people leadership, product strategy, and design craft. I am responsible for design quality across multiple teams, and for building an environment where designers can develop strong judgment, make better decisions, and do work they’re proud of over time.I work closely with product and engineering leadership to turn ambiguity into direction — aligning insight, priorities, and execution so that design drives real outcomes for merchants and businesses, not just polished interfaces.Before Vipps MobilePay, I spent several years in IT consulting, amongst other things designing digital services in the public sector. Working on large, constraint-heavy systems shaped how I think about complexity, trade-offs, and the real-world impact of good design — especially in products no one initially calls “exciting.”I believe strong design leadership is about clarity over noise, craft over polish, and building teams and ways of working that are ambitious, grounded, and sustainable.
