The responsibility of the Quality Control Technician is to handle all raw materials being received. This includes sampling and sending to the lab for testing and finally releasing to production. They also document products being sent to the lab to get tested and maintain final product retains and retentions. Quality Control Technician will report to the Quality Control Manager.Monitor all day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure that the production processes are in compliance with and followed as per the FDA guidelines, cGMP, written SOP’s and company policies.Release of finished product.Sample and release raw materials.Document raw material tested.Sample and release packaging components.Assist in training.Log and maintain final product retains and retention area.Assists in the overall quality control of raw materials, packaging components and final goods.Performs other related duties as assigned.Work in manufacturing/production environment conducting Quality ControlAbility to record and review data when needed.Ability to train others.Experience and skill in mentoring co-workers.Excellent documentation skills.Open to direction, task oriented.Excels in operating in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work under stress.Delegates responsibilities effectively.
