In my role at Wabash Valley Power Alliance, I play an integral part in shaping our approach to talent attraction, employee engagement, and retention. I collaborate with department managers to create job descriptions, define hiring requirements, schedule and conduct interviews, and support hiring teams throughout the selection process.Beyond recruiting, I work cross-functionally to support and maintain employee engagement programs that align with WVPA’s culture and strategic goals. I assist with HR communications, recognition efforts, and initiatives that strengthen connection and morale across the organization.I also oversee our Summer Internship Program and lead our Fun Committee, making sure we host monthly engagement activities that bring employees together, build community, and reinforce our strong workplace culture.By sharing insights and trends with key stakeholders, I help drive effective, people-centered HR strategies that make WVPA a great place to work.
