About Lela Walker
Hello! My name is Lela Walker, and I am a third-year student at the University of Cincinnati double majoring in Political Science and Journalism. After completing my bachelor\'s degree, I plan on obtaining my Master\'s in Public Administration and Social Justice (4+1 BA/MA Program) from the University of Cincinnati. I aim to become an Investigative Journalist focusing on how public policy impacts a variety of social issues around the world. A few issues I hope to focus on include urbanization, education, health disparities, and food insecurities. I am passionate about gardening, traveling to understand the lives of underserved children and families, and the showcasing of life through film and media.
