I received my first piggy bank at the age of four. This was my first encounter with the flow of cash. I loved the endless cycle of filling up and emptying my piggies. Many years later, and piggies still continue to be my passion. As the daughter of a small business owner, I witnessed firsthand the value of managing finances. I assisted my father in the organization of his business expenses and revenues. I was always fascinated by how easily a few numbers on a sheet of paper could determine the overall operation of a business. I love the field of finance as I find it to be incredibly necessary and relevant both in the professional world and in our personal lives. Some might find the field of finance as daunting when in fact we use it every day. From preparing our grocery lists to opening savings accounts to investing in company stocks, the scope of finance can be as big (or small) as you need it to be. On my end, I\'d like to make use of this powerful knowledge and help others learn how they can fill up their own piggies.
