I am an aspiring pre-medical student at UCLA who is focusing on how to improve healthcare access in underserved communities, such as my home county: the Imperial Valley. My journey toward becoming a physician is driven by a commitment to narrowing gaps in our healthcare system through service, advocacy, and education.Through volunteering, community health initiatives, and research, I have witnessed the impact that compassionate care can have on individuals\' lives. I am dedicated to continuing my education and using my skills to increase equitable and inclusive healthcare access in rural communities.
