By providing guidance and support, I ensure that everyone works toward common objectives and stays aligned with the company’s core values.In addition, I drive the adoption of new technologies and systems to improve operational capabilities, including tools for inventory management, CRM, and other systems. I closely track our financial performance, monitoring key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure we meet our operational targets.Ultimately, my role at Skyjems.ca is to create an efficient, customer-focused operation that supports the company’s growth while upholding the high standards our customers expect.

ABOUT LEILA HAIKONEN
Gratuate of George Brown College with Diplomas in Business Management and Fashion Design. After college, I began working in the gemstone business and studied with the Gemological Institute of America. In 2007 I graduated with an Accredited Jewellery Professional (GIA) Diploma, followed by a Diamond Graduate (GIA) Diploma in 2008. My background is in business, administration, creative and I have the ability to see the big picture with an eye for the minute details that go into creating it. In the last few years I managed a nonprofit membership association and a large part of this role comprised of supporting the president and executives on the board of directors. Maintaining confidentiality is second nature to me and I am security conscious from working in the jewellery business; I bring with me exceptional judgement, poise, tact and diplomacy. Having drafted numerous press releases and other marketing correspondence I am adept in public relations.
