I work at the intersection of clinical mental health, artificial intelligence, and product design, helping translate the complexity of human healing into technology that supports care safely and responsibly.As a therapist and Clinical AI Prompt Engineer at Upheal, I collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to build AI tools that reflect the realities of clinical practice. My work focuses on ensuring AI systems are not only technically capable, but also clinically sound, ethically aligned, and trusted by providers.I specialize in translating evidence-based therapeutic frameworks—including EMDR, DBT, IFS, and trauma-informed care—into AI-assisted workflows that improve documentation, reduce clinician burnout, and expand access to quality mental health care. This work involves designing prompt architectures, evaluating model outputs for clinical integrity, and helping shape product decisions around safety, usability, and clinician trust.Alongside my work in clinical AI, I run a private therapy and consulting practice focused on trauma recovery, moral injury, burnout, and identity development among high-performing professionals. This clinical work keeps me grounded in the lived experiences of the people AI tools are ultimately designed to serve.Across both domains, my work centers on a single question:How can technology extend human care without flattening its complexity?I’m particularly interested in roles shaping the future of Clinical AI, responsible AI governance in healthcare, and human-centered health technology.
