ABOUT LEILA NOWROOZI

I am a strategic, operational, and adaptable business leader with over 25 years of work experience in all sectors within healthcare including health plans, life sciences companies, and providers. I currently work as the Chief Growth Officer of Penn Quarter Partners in Washington DC where I have oversight of brand, marketing, and business development efforts. Prior to PQP, I led Aetna\'s Marketing Operations, Brand Strategy, and Medicaid Marketing teams. I also worked with Government Affairs and the Aetna Foundation/CVSH Corporate Social Responsibility teams to create and run a National Partnerships and Alliance Development function so that we could bring the full breath of our resources to the communities we serve. My passion is in forging partnerships that address Social Determinants of Health and that aim to close gaps in community wellness. I have been privileged to work with patient groups, community based organizations, and non-profits who enable health access at the local level. Regardless of my role, I am always focused on delivering business objectives while ensuring operational efficiency. I love being in healthcare because of the complexity and significant challenges it constantly presents. I believe there is always room for creativity and a positive solution-oriented spirit to address one of the most foundational issues impacting our country.
