ABOUT LEILA MUHAMMAD KADIR

I am a Certified Public Accountant (ACCA) with 8+ years of experience on financial services auditing and advisory services across Americas and the East African regions. My experience spans across Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance Services for Healthcare and Financial Services industries, focusing on areas of Investments, Insurance, and Healthcare as well as in financial services external audit.Over the years, I have led and managed staff on engagements encompassing private and public companies, with entities management assets more than billions of US Dollars. I am a detail orientated, self- motivated and hardworking individual with a passion for learning and teaching others. I am a leader and team player with a proven track record of leading timely high-quality deliverables. I am a critical thinker, problem solver and exceptional in my communication.I have been involved in the provision of audit and other risk advisory services to a wide range of clients in different sectors across East Africa in the capacities of audit assistant, assisting in-charge and in-charge. I have been involved in execution of various assignments in accordance with International Standards on auditing (ISAs), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS & IAS) and GAAP.I have vast audit experience across different sectors including financial services specifically Insurance (both Life and Non-life business), Banking, Consumer and industrial markets, and public sector development.
