About Leila Bunker
Fourth-year Honors student at Seattle University majoring in Sociology with minors in Communication & Media and Women, Gender, & Studies. In addition to my studies, I am the Editor-in-Chief of The Spectator. It is there that I nurture my love for writing and utilize storytelling as an instrument to foster meaningful dialogue. I am drawn to sociology because I strive to examine positionality within social frameworks and critically assess systemic inequities. I believe that developing nuanced insights into social dynamics fosters both intellectual growth and meaningful connection, cultivating empathy and collective action. This perspective guides my academic pursuits and professional aspirations.I am committed to leveraging my writing expertise as a vehicle for advocacy and public awareness.
