International Parliamentary Scholarship (Ips) Fellow @Deutscher Bundestag

Placed in the office of Bundestag Vice President Yvonne Magwas, where I have thus far curated press and meeting briefings, engaged with constituents (via phone, email, meetings, etc.), managed social media, and conducted research for forthcoming legislation. Each year, IPS offers over 90 young graduates from 50 nations the opportunity to work in the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) for five months. Parallel to our internship with a member of the Bundestag, we also attend events and seminars to learn about the history and inner workings of Germany’s democracy.
