ABOUT LEIGHTON TANKOUA

I am studying Politics at the University of Warwick. My modules include Political Research in the 21st Century and International Security. These sharpen my analytical skills and give me experience with data, argument, and structured thinking. I am interested in consulting and finance where analysis meets strategy and decisions have measurable impact.As Head Boy, I represented over students and worked closely with senior staff to bridge communication between pupils and school leadership. I coordinated a team of prefects, organised events, and managed responsibilities that required both accountability and initiative. This experience strengthened my ability to lead diverse groups, balance competing priorities, and deliver results under pressure.Debating has trained me to respond quickly under pressure. Reaching the Oxford Schools Final Day required research, teamwork, and precise communication. These skills apply directly to client-facing work where persuasion and clarity are essential.I am looking for opportunities where I can use research and problem-solving skills in structured professional settings. I want to work on complex challenges with practical outcomes, contributing to organisations that value both analysis and collaboration.
