ABOUT LEIGH ELLEN SONTHEIMER

I am a relationship-driven, multi-lingual human being, professional, global citizen, and movement instructor. Through collaboration, empathy, innate curiosity, intelligence, critical thinking, and the ability to develop trusted relationships I facilitate growth and impact for mission-driven, multi-cultural, forward-thinking entities. I played a key role in the successful management and growth of a diverse range of initiatives with:• The world\'s largest development bank• An international NGO• A boutique eco-resort and retreat center. Achievements include:• Growing the retreat + group sales of a boutique eco-luxury resort and retreat center from one to more than 20 retreats annually (more than increase), and group revenue from less than to more than (more than increase) annually.• Managing implementation of an international grant program funding civic-public-corporate partnerships for youth development.• Identifying & developing channels that engaged youth in the production of the World Development Report 2007 and other international policy dialogues.I’m also a lifelong dancer, long-time yogi and yoga instructor, and pilates practitioner. Movement is medicine; connecting body, one\'s breath, and mind for me is like \'going home\'. Since my childhood, I am most comfortable in, and energized by connecting, multiple cultures. Using my Spanish and other Romance language skills, international education, and experience, to connect diverse nationalities and groups is central to my work. My M.O. is \"interaction, ideation, learning, movement, and meaning\". I invite you to reach out to me at l••••••••@icloud.com.
