About Leigh Clapper
Senior program leader with 20+ years of experience leading Air Force sustainment strategy, weapons system lifecycle planning, and technical operations at the enterprise level. I’ve managed portfolios exceeding $26B, supported resource planning for the $41B Weapon System Sustainment account, and briefed 4-star leadership on modernization, sustainment readiness, and cross-functional risk.Throughout my career, I’ve driven solutions that align operational requirements with strategic goals—whether through automating SLPR documentation, developing readiness metrics adopted at the field level, or leading depot and flightline teams through innovation and change. My work has supported mission execution at HQ AFMC, NASIC-aligned programs, and across platforms including the F-35, C-17, A-10, F-15E, and ICBM systems. In addition to my military leadership roles, I support a service-based small business and manage a personal real estate portfolio—bringing the same focus on systems, risk, and operational execution to civilian ventures as I have to national defense.I hold a TS/SCI clearance and remain committed to results that support mission success and organizational growth.
