As the Head of Risk, I am responsible for advising and managing risk and incident management matters. I maintain and manage the organisation\'s high-level risk register and Board Assurance Framework and complete a review and refresh of the Board Assurance Framework and Risk Management Framework.In this role, I lead and provide oversight on the management of incidents and risks and monitor and report on progress about strategic and high-level risks and incidents to service managers, the Executive Team, Board, and Board sub-committees. I also develop and present papers and reports to Board and committee members on risk and risk analysis.I ensure that risk and incident management processes are embedded across the organisation and provide staff training on risk management within the ICB and the use of the risk management system. I contribute generally to work needed to ensure the organisation operates efficiently and within budgets and maintain and improve performance against nationally and locally agreed-on standards.In addition, I lead specific work plans and projects as requested by the Senior Management Team and manage risk via the ICB risk management software, Radar Healthcare. Through my leadership and management skills, I can drive operational efficiency and excellence, which allows us to achieve our goals and exceed expectations.As a risk-based professional, I work closely with senior management to identify and mitigate potential risks to the organisation. In addition to my risk management duties, I also assist with a range of other projects, including recruitment, induction of staff, building and estate management, project management, and staff training and mentoring.In addition, my project management experience ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard. I enjoy working on these projects and take pride in my ability to make a positive impact through my contributions in these areas.
