As the Director of Economic Development, Small Business, and Tourism for Rockingham County, North Carolina, I lead countywide initiatives aimed at expanding job opportunities and strengthening the local tax base. Since joining the county in 2019, our office has played a pivotal role in driving economic growth, securing significant investments, and successfully attracting major companies such as Nestlé Purina, Ontex Group, and Farmina Pet Food. These strategic efforts continue to position Rockingham County as a thriving destination for business and industry.In recognition of our efforts, I was honored as the 2021 North Carolina Economic Development Association Economic Developer of the Year.
