ABOUT LEIA SHUHAIBAR

I am an interdisciplinary Medical Scientist with a PhD in biomedical science and 12+ years of experience across translational research, clinical training, and field medical affairs. My work has focused on endocrinology, reproductive medicine, infertility, and rare diseases—areas where I’ve combined rigorous scientific knowledge with real-world clinical insight to drive progress in patient care.My career has included hands-on clinical training in embryology and clinical trials, as well as scientific leadership in the pharmaceutical industry. I’ve built trusted partnerships with key opinion leaders, contributed to medical strategy through actionable insights, and led initiatives in real-world evidence generation and digital engagement. I’ve co-authored 9 peer-reviewed publications, a book chapter, two grants, and a shared patent application, and have been invited to speak at both national and international conferences.With 15 years of teaching and mentoring experience, I bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, project management capabilities, and a passion for translating complex science into meaningful healthcare solutions.
