Laura is a Associate, based in Newcastle, with a blend of private practice, Local Authority and Higher Education experience which has furnished her with a strong set of technical skills. Underpinning all of her roles has been the use and application of Geographical Information Science skills, techniques and processes. She is an expert in the use and application of the ESRI product suite along with open source software such as QGIS. She is also experienced in the deployment and use of ArcSDE, ArcServer and Geoserver. Laura has a sound knowledge of various database software including PostgreSQL (PostGIS), SQL server and Access and has good python scripting skills.
