ABOUT HANG LEAH WHALEN
Hello there! I\'m Le Hang or Leah Whalen, a Vietnamese-American visual development artist and biology enthusiast. I\'m all about creating thoughtful, well-researched designs and telling stories with heart. This year I\'m directing my thesis film, Stone Lions Don\'t Roar, a 5-minute 3D film following two sisters in a fantastical take on Vietnam where their emotions manifest as unruly beasts. I am passionate about all parts of the animation pipeline and love learning new ways to integrate 3D into my concept work.When I\'m not drawing you can find me birdwatching, trying to turn the Sims into a 3D modeling software, or trying to replicate my mother\'s cooking.
