About Ryan Wood
Since 2009 I have worked for Merlin Entertainments Group, a global leader in family attractions. One of my great joys has been watching my four children grow up surrounded by themed magical experiences.For 11 years in Merlin Magic Making’s model production division I progressed from building bespoke LEGO creations for attractions all over the planet, to designing digital and physical prototypes for builders to complete, to recruiting and managing teams of builders and designers in production facilities on both coasts of the United States.In 2020 I transitioned to the world of attractions at LEGOLAND New York managing the in-park model shop where we installed, maintained, enhanced and created more than LEGO models for kids, their families, and kids-at-heart to enjoy in the US Northeast’s newest theme park! In 2023 I made the shift to LEGOLAND Florida Resort to continue the great work being done there!
