ABOUT LEE WILKINSON

This and other platforms allow me to deliver my messages from a small town in Yorkshire to a Global audience via the internet. That’s pretty cool!Thanks for taking a look at my profile. How do I describe myself, well I\'d say, I am Lee first and foremost, powered by family values, lover of the built environment and driven by a curiosity to learn. From University I went straight to work at PwC - in hindsight I should have travelled more but there’s always later in life to take that option up. The day job: I’m a qualified Chartered Accountant and Audit Director with 20 years\' experience at PwC, based in Yorkshire but serving businesses globally. My role has allowed me to understand the foundations of businesses and support companies on their strategic journey. Alongside significant time within our Audit practice I have worked on capital market transactions, financial and vendor due diligence and forensic investigations. The passion: I love the built environment. From my early years of playing with Lego (which still remains) to exploring modern day designs. The introduction of innovation into the world of construction and real estate fascinates me and will allow for the industry to really enhance for the longer term. I work alongside a wide range of clients including: listed, private business, private equity backed and individuals across a wide range of industries – largely in the Housing, Construction and Real Estate sectors which I lead locally in the North, and contribute nationally to. I have a wide variety of client based experiences ranging from statutory and non-statutory audits, internal control reviews, completion accounts, investigations, corporate and commercial disputes, due-diligence reporting and accounting advice. If it involves numbers I’ve probably been there. Meeting people and sharing experiences is the best way to connect with someone.
