ABOUT LEE STOECKERT
I am a seasoned leader with over 40 years of experience in infrastructure in ever escalating areas of responsibility. My experience base is broad encompassing infrastructure engineering (networks, mainframes, servers, workstations), data center operations, and systems programming.As a leader I focus on developing strong teams by providing guidance and mentoring while empowering them to accomplish their mission. I am a strategic thinker; able to blend and balance business needs with technology solutions. At JCPenney I drove the transformation from SNA to TCP/IP and several topology migrations. More recently I spearheaded the transformation to consolidation of voice, video and data into a single network; beginning with the migration to Voice over IP.As a key member of the IT leadership team, I’ve played major roles as we acquired new divisions and again as we divested divisions. One example was my role in the sale of our Eckerd Drug division where I was the IT representative on the team. I provided the disclosures to the potential buyers, negotiated the IT portions of the asset sale and hammered out service agreements for a post-sale transition period. As a result of this success I was recognized with an honorarium from the CFO.At Health First, I lead a team through replacing nearly every data network and telelphony system along with the WAN and Internet. We made major upgrades to the Wireless and Security as well. Standardizing our equipment profile and we were able to cut our maintenance costs by 40% and reduce our MTTR.
