As a Chartered Civil Engineer of The Institution of Civil Engineers, Managing Director, Business Partner, and Group Board Director, I bring over 20 years of experience in engineering, including 10 years dedicated to learning business leadership. I’ve learned that success depends as much on people as it does on projects. I’ve been shaping strategies, leading teams through change, and ensuring strategy meetings lead to clear, impactful decisions.I’m passionate about building not just bridges and structures, but businesses, teams, and cultures. I thrive on tackling challenges others might avoid, whether it’s solving a complex engineering problem or convincing stakeholders that change is a good thing.A key part of my leadership philosophy is creating a great positive culture where collaboration, accountability, and the occasional office joke coexist. Building high-performing teams is as much about empowering people as it is about empowering ideas, and I’m proud of the results we’ve achieved.Over the years, I’ve supported growth through strategic acquisitions, integrating new teams, aligning cultures, and turning “we just bought a company” into “we’re stronger together.” Most recently, I founded KPG Ventures and Kingdom and Partners, through which I’ve led the acquisition of Red Rock and Key Geo, two businesses that now form part of a growing, values-driven group.Along the way, I’ve learned that spreadsheets don’t have all the answers, but they’re a great place to start.Outside of work, I’m a dedicated dad, keen drummer, golfer (79 best round!), and classic car enthusiast who enjoys rallying across Europe.Now, with a solid foundation in engineering and a decade of business leadership, I focus on driving efficiency, delivering value, and occasionally explaining what \"Temporary Works\" actually means.
