In the photo above, I’m enjoying an event at Carnegie Hall when we were living in Manhattan. Shirley and I are now living in a beautiful small town [Alexandria] right next to a fascinating big town [DC]. The change has been invigorating. Maybe you remember me from my days as a one-man band at The Ponton Company, designing offices and selling office furniture. I can say without reservation that it was the most rewarding career I could ever have chosen. On a daily basis I think about customers I worked for who became good friends. And that\'s what I think it should be about, not just making money, but meeting new people and generating enough respect to become friends.

   East Potomac is the busiest golf complex on the east coast. Part of the National Links Trust, we boast 3 courses and 36 holes of golf. My job is regulating play on our three links. It’s great to be outdoors working with golfers, the nicest people.
