I am so excited to officially announce that I have started a small portfolio of my own. KJS is and will continue to be my primary portfolio and responsibility, but I\'m proud of my new book with three high end boutique Napa wineries that are almost exclusively DTC. Adamvs (pronounced Adam-us) is an 80 acre beautiful winery on Howell Mountain just at the end of White Cottage Road. These remarkable wines are made by Philipe Melka. Once you try them, you\'ll never forget the name. Also made by Melka is Zakin Family Estates. This tiny Howell Mountain estate winery usually only produces no more than 300 cases of wine annually. These handcrafted wines come from three vineyard areas encompassing a total of 3.8 acres: The Pool Block, The Upper Vineyard, and the Back Blocks. You want to talk about a hidden gem, this is the definition of it. Last but not least, Diamond Mountain Vineyards (formerly Constant) made by Kevin Vecchiarelli (with Paul Hobbs consulting). The oldest and highest vineyard in Napa Valley, the winery has some of the most breathtaking views of the valley. If you\'ve had a diamond mountain AVA wine, there is a good chance the fruit comes from their vineyard. Unsurprisingly, they keep the best grapes for themselves. As an amazing bonus, they have all given me access to their library wines and are willing to participate in wine dinners/tastings. I\'ve attached my first ever price sheet of current vintages (some of which are already sold out unfortunately). Please let me know if you would like to arrange a tasting, or if you are curious about any specific library offerings. Some even have the ability to do private labels. The only drawback is that they prefer not to be sold online as they do not distribute and want to remain highly exclusive. Let me know how I can best help you get to know these wines.
