ABOUT LEE PETTS

A creative problem-solver and communicator, I\'ve been honing my skills since 1996 and have deployed them in a variety of settings ever since.I currently run Fifty2M, a PR and marketing agency that was originally born in June 2002. I have a particular talent for identifying and engaging stakeholders, building coalitions and alliances, and turning people into evangelical advocates. You\'ll find I\'m very enthusiastic in everything I do.If you use me in a professional capacity, you\'ll soon find that I will take the deepest of deep dives into your organisation and the world in which it operates until I know it inside-out. That\'s partly because I\'m not exactly neurotypical - my ADHD means I have a tendency to hyperfocus on things, which I use to great effect by researching you and what you\'re all about, consuming vast amounts of information very quickly that helps me understand how to position you and construct a narrative around you, or dream-up impactful campaign concepts. However, in the interests of full transparency, you may also find that my ADHD means I\'m terminally forgetful. I also see time a bit differently, so, looking forwards, I struggle to \'see\' much more than two weeks ahead (which makes planning hard); looking backwards, what \'feels\' to me like 3-4 days is actually 3-4 weeks So, if you don\'t hear back from me in a reasonable timeframe, please don\'t hesitate to nudge me, I won\'t be offended (you\'ll be doing us both a favour). Oh, and one more thing: ADHD brains LOVE dopamine which means to anything new, novel, interesting, or exciting and a big fat to anything boring, like admin and report writing I’m a confident and effective communicator at all levels, which makes me very approachable and accessible - key attributes in my line of work. I can work both strategically and tactically, and am very results orientated.I\'ve been interviewed by press, radio and TV media many times over the years, speaking up for clients and their projects.Winner of the IoD North West Director of the Year Award 2015 for Leadership in Corporate Responsibility, I\'m a big believer in doing business in a way that\'s ethical, and socially and environmentally responsible.A Mancunian living in exile in Lancashire, but happy to call it home. All about family, friends and fun. Sarcasm is my first language, but I\'m also fluent in English. Oh, and I have a very dry (arid) sense of humour.[IMPORTANT NOTE: I can\'t stand instant coffee, so if you invite me for a meeting, please make sure there\'s proper coffee ]
