About Lee Nelson
I didn\'t know what I wanted to be when I grew up, but during my 21 years in the USAF, Uncle Sam decided for me that I should be a meteorologist.and that was 100% the correct choice! I wasn\'t your typical weather nerd growing up in Minnesota, but I was always keenly aware of the impact that weather had on pretty much every human activity.I was fortunate to take the passion for weather that I developed in the Air Force and apply it to my 15+ years at Vaisala working with some amazing people and cutting edge technology. When the opportunity arose to join the Haight Bey team here in Ogden, I jumped at the chance. I\'m thrilled to be leading such a talented and dedicated team and I look forward to forging new paths to growth and success here.When I\'m not working my day job, you can often find me on stage with my classic rock cover band, Unauthorized Absence, based out of Longmont, CO.or perhaps on a golf course somewhere honing my weather observing skills!
