My role is to maintain the process plant and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with all statutory requirements and explosive environment (COMPEX) legislation. Carry out planned preventative, remedial and breakdown maintenance in accordance with clients management system.* Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA)* AV & Video Conferencing including Townhall style setups * IP CCTV installation and commissioning* PC Desk top IT and Telephone support* Line Of Sight & Radio System maintenance and communications plan management in compliance with OFCOM licences (Fixed & Portable - MF/HF/VHF/UHF) Non directional Beacon and AIS maritime safety system.* INMARSAT and iridium bearer systems* Meteorological Monitoring Systems* Entertainment, SKY TV network & cinema.* Platform Radio operator responsible for helicopter flight watch operations.Key projects on the platform have included the following:* Ceragon LOS upgrade: Assisted in the control of work, installation, pointing and power balancing the new ceragon radios and their antennas.* Replacement and upgrade of the platform PAGA to a GAI-Tronics System: Installation of new control nodes, amplifiers and logic controllers. Connected old speaker loops in and re-balanced amplifiers to match loop impedance. Assisted in the commissioning and site acceptance on behalf of the client.* Installation of IP CCTV system: Installation, termination and site acceptance testing of the new CCTV system. The project also entailed the generation of red line engineer drawings to be sent back and ratified by onshore engineers.
