ABOUT LEE GIBSON

Lee Gibson is a passionate designer living & working in Beaverton, Oregon, for Wilson Sporting Goods as a Senior Design Director. Lee grew up in New Zealand in a remote area called the King Country, moved to Wellington to study architecture and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Victoria University of Wellington in Since then, Lee has practiced design and architecture across a broad range of projects within multiple disciplines at varying scales, and has taught at multiple institutions around the world. Lee completed an MFA in Interior Design at Parsons The New School of Design in New York City in 2012 on a full academic scholarship, while receiving global recognition for multiple projects across a range of disciplines.Since early 2014 Lee has worked as a Footwear Designer for NIKE INC within the Nike Sportswear (NSW) Men\'s Running Team working on a broad range of projects such as heritage remaster projects, concept and innovation design, and a special project collaboration with LeBron James on the iconic Air Max 95. Interested in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design & Interior Architecture, Product Design & Development, Creative Direction, Brand Identity, and Design Visualization across multiple design disciplines.Specialties: Design Thinking, Design Visualization, Communication, Teaching.
