ABOUT LEE BRAINE

I am a senior technology leader in financial services with a proven track record of delivering innovation across capital markets, corporate banking, wealth and investment management, retail banking, payments and financial market infrastructure. I have led strategic initiatives in emerging technologies including digital money, digital assets, blockchain and distributed ledger technology, process automation, AI (including agentic AI and generative AI) and quantum computing.My focus lies in shaping and delivering forward-looking technology strategies – from ideation to industry adoption. I bring deep experience managing complex, high-impact projects with cross-functional teams and C-level stakeholders. I have led engagements with central banks, regulators and industry consortia. I have also represented banks on industry committees including the Bank of England’s CBDC Technology Forum, New York Fed’s FinTech Advisory Group, ICMA’s Fintech Advisory Committee, and GFMA’s Digital SteerCo. I regularly publish industry papers, speak at conferences, and shape future-focused dialogue in payments and capital markets innovation.
