WORK HISTORY
Parttime Lecturer @Parsons School Of Design - The New School
New York, NY, US
My pedagogical approach focuses on fostering spatial thinking and embodied cognition in design education, especially in today’s society, where direct, hands-on experiences are increasingly rare, and we are overwhelmed by passive consumption of imagery.• Designed and implemented structured design processes for the Design and Technology BFA & MFA programs, focusing on biopsychosocial influences and philosophical perspective and cognitive interaction in human-environment experiences intertwining cross disciplinary research and collaboration. • Developed curriculum on Experiential Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Storytelling, Spatial experience in Virtual and Physical Environments (XR), and ethical design consideration• BFA Thesis 1 Fall 2024, Core Lab CT Environments SP24 & 25, MFA Visual Design Concepts SP2024• Initiated and applied spatial sound design workshop idea to CT Lab course • Coordinate and Facilitated Collaboration with XR Prototyping Tool and Unity AI Companies: Established connections with Ordinary Objects and Bezi, leading to the successful organization of workshop sessions (Dorkshops). This initiative provided students with hands-on experience in XR prototyping, fostering creativities and designing and testing prototypes, lowering high bar of technological accessibility and enhancing their understanding of emerging design tools.
