ABOUT LEE-ANN DUNTON

With over 20 years of IT experience, I\'ve primarily been involved with application development teams, managing internal & third-party application projects, project planning, management & delivery, and vendor relationships. I\'ve designed, tested, implemented, and deployed a large number of successful proprietary applications, as well as having been involved in a myriad of third-party software implementation projects. I enjoy bridging the gap between executives, developers, and end users, and I will happily get deep into the weeds with my team. While my focus has been on information technology and software development, I have extensive experience across all aspects of the business, from sales to finance, production to editorial, and everything in-between.I\'ve always been a huge proponent of diversity, equity & inclusion, especially within the workplace, and I am passionate about fostering a positive & compassionate environment for *all* individuals. Outside of the office I am a dedicated Harm Reductionist, with volunteer work always having played a massively important part in my life. I embody harm reduction principles & devote my personal time to ensuring that people who use drugs are empowered to stay safe & hold on to their bodily autonomy. I am both a street-based harm reductionist, as well as a trained rapid HIV/HCV (Hepatitis C) tester. I can often be found in & around the houseless communities of Phoenix distributing safer substance use & sex supplies. I focus on training folks how to recognize & reverse an opioid overdose, distributing naloxone (\"Narcan\"), operating a syringe service program (SSP), educating on all aspects of harm reduction, and assisting with referrals to other service providers & resources when requested.I\'m also a dedicated volunteer abortion doula & clinic escort with my local Planned Parenthood healthcare center. For the past 7+ years I\'ve led weekly patient escort shifts & sat on the escort leadership committee, and in for the last 2+ years I\'ve provided support & advocacy to health center patients as an abortion doula.
