Identity House is a 41 year old Peer Counseling and Psychotherapy community mental health counseling center for the LGBTQ community. IH runs a walk-in center at the LGBT community center at 208 West 13th Street, NYC, short term topic orientated groups, short-term 8 week counseling and referrals to psychotherapists. I have been the Clinical Director and have held most other administrative positions. From 20••••06 I was Chair of the Board and steered the organization through its most difficult time, losing our location due to higher rents and transforming the organization to a more streamlined successful enterprise.
