WORK HISTORY
Communications Manager Officer Spokesperson @United Nations
I worked as a communications specialist in the United Nations for more than 15 years. I was promoted through a number of positions, in different entities, and developed and managed many projects and campaigns. I began as the Spokesperson for the High Commissioner for Human Rights in post-genocide Rwanda. I branded the United Nations Police, worked for the Office of Rule of Law and became the Senior Communications officer for the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund. My primary concern in this position was explaining the Byzantine rules and regulations of this 70-year-old institution to the members of this 65 billion dollar fund. United Nations experience: High Commissioner for Human Rights 19••••96; Peacekeeping Cote d\'Ivoire 20••••09; Office of Rule of Law and Security Institutions (Peacekeeping) United Nations Police Division, United Nations Mine Action Service, Justice & Corrections, Disarmament & Demobilization and Security Sector Reform Service at UNHQ 20••••16; United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund 20••••18; United Nations Mine Action Service 2018 - Present.
