Contracted by Boskalis/VBMS onboard jack up vessel THOR for AWE/EON Arkona wind farm AB01 repair project after a vessel collision, the scope of work included, Inspection and repair of AB01 transition piece, preparation and removal of damaged external platform, also repair of any other affected parts discovered during inspection work-scope, after the habitat was installed over TP full paint system repairs down to sea level including blasting/metallisation, salt and roughness test prior to sealing and full paint system applied in a controlled environment, installation and commissioning of new external platform including cable and switchgear testing.
