Sales & Strategy Leader with 20 Years in Energy | Driving Growth Across UK, Europe, Africa, Americas & Asia PacI’ve spent nearly two decades in the energy industry, starting out hands-on with technical roles and working my way through project delivery, operations management, regional management and now leading global sales strategy. That journey has given me one consistent lesson: success comes from building trust—whether it’s with clients, teams, or the next generation coming into our industry.Today, as Head of Sales at Maritime Developments Ltd, I focus on more than numbers. I drive growth by shaping strategies that combine commercial performance with people development. I believe lasting success comes when we invest in assets, innovation, and—most importantly—our people. I take pride in mentoring colleagues, building strong customer partnerships, and setting ambitious goals that move both individuals and businesses forward.My career has taken me across the world — from the UK and Europe to Africa, the Americas, and Asia Pacific — giving me a global perspective and an ability to connect with diverse clients, cultures, and markets.Outside of work, I coach my daughters’ football team, where the same principles apply: teamwork, resilience, and giving people the belief that they can achieve more than they think. Family and the outdoors play a big part in who I am—I’m at my happiest on adventures with my wife, daughters, and our dog Izzy, often joking that I’m Aberdeen’s answer to Bear Grylls (though with slightly fewer cameras and more midges). When I’m not exploring, you’ll usually find me on the golf course, chasing the next round that might finally bring me down to scratch.Looking ahead, my goal is simple: to keep developing people, businesses, and partnerships that deliver results—with integrity, passion and a wee bit of adventure along the way.
