About Lee Steward

With over 30 years of experience in music, education, and nonprofit sectors, I am a versatile and creative professional who combines artistic vision, writing skills, and business acumen. I am passionate about teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students and clients to achieve their goals and express their talents. I am currently the Instructor of Music at Sonoma State University, where I leverage my diverse perspectives and experiences to contribute to the mission and culture of the organization. In addition, I have been an Executive Management Consultant for several arts and education organizations in the SF Bay area, providing development, executive transition, program management, communications, database organization, and marketing services. Overall, I have helped raise over 12 million for these organizations, using my innovative development strategy, detailed grant writing tactics, and transparent financial systems.

   Raised over 5mm through annual fund, music endowment, yearly gala, capital campaign and legacy gifts. Manage, support, and organize all stewardship activities and fundraising events as well as guide Stewardship Committee, volunteer recruitment, planned giving, and major gifts.
