A highly experienced offshore drilling and decommissioning Health & Safety Practitioner, with City & Guilds Occupational Health Safety Diploma (GradIOSH) and NEBOSH General Certificate - Grade of Distinction. Currently employed as Client HSE Advisor and Radiation Protection Supervisor for Shell UK on a Jack Up operating in the Southern Sector of the North Sea. Extensive experience on Jack Up and Semisubmersible rigs in the roles of STC/RSA and as Client Safety Representative. I am a qualified and experienced trainer, instructor and coach with Train the Trainer qualification. I am dynamic, enthusiastic, and professional in any role. I have a wealth of experience in the demanding environments of the UK Sector and the International Sector (Middle East) in operations ranging from drilling to plug and abandonment decommissioning. Previous to working offshore I served for twenty five years’ in the Royal Navy, achieving the Rate of Chief Petty Officer, which included the role of Departmental Health & Safety Coordinator.
