ABOUT LEE PERKS

Helping to inspire the next generation by working with businesses, charities, public speakers and amazing people that provide outstanding opportunities for students. I can offer you the opportunity to transform lives at Barnsley College by bridging the gap between education and employment by working with you to organise a talk, workshop, webinar or seminar with the next generation to mould the future. I have had previous experiences in both events and teaching meaning that I am more than capable of communicating with students and professionals to organise our cross-college events. I continue to develop my skills, knowledge and network by reading articles, speaking with professionals and attending both physical and online networking events. It is essential for me to do this to provide students with authentic and original resources to coincide with worldly events in order to keep our students in touch with the outside world, or in short, provide our students with Cultural Capital. I want to connect with likeminded people to expand the minds of the next generation and help us to transform lives. I want to be able to see students with a growth mindset and challenge their internal bias. I want to be able to work with you to open student’s minds to the possibilities that the whole world has to offer.
