I have a strong engineering background and I boast the ability to work with individuals at all levels, I have also demonstrated excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, communication and relationship building in many contexts. As a Manager, I make use of my interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills on a daily basis and have extensive experience in ISO9001 implementation. I thrive within a highly pressurised environment and am motivated by meeting/exceeding targets and providing motivational,`hands-on` management. I like to be a positive voice, offering support and help pro-actively, and I feel a real strength is my ability not only to manage but (crucially) to motivate and support others. I am adept also at identifying operational problems and inefficiencies and implementing `fit for purpose` solutions. My career has provided me with a wealth of diverse experience, embedding a quality-focused culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and achieving business objectives. I greatly enjoy all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, change management and people/team development. I have consistently delivered impressive results, by developing an appropriate strategy and by ensuring all completed projects/initiatives deliver continually improved performance. I have played a leading role in improving the performance of all the companies I have worked for. My personal maxim is to strive for excellence, and it is really important to me that I enjoy my work and am able to see the positive difference I make. I see the results of my commitment every day and I am looking forward to meeting each challenge as it arises.
