Lee Heffernan is a Regional Industrial Hygiene Director for bp and has over 22 years of experience working in the fields of HSE, within the oil and gas, defence and transport sectors. Lee specialises in understanding worker health risks and the application of pragmatic industrial hygiene controls. His work with international merchant shipping bodies has resulted in improved health and safety for all seafarers globally and he currently sits on the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) conference organising committee.
